His family moved to New York City.

Married Adon Lacroix then changed his name to Man Ray.

Bought his first Camera to photograph his Paintings.

Hired by John Quinn to photograph some of his artwork.

Won his first award for his portrait for a sculpture.

Made his first film; 'Return to Reason'.

"Le Violin D'Ingres" was published, he became known a pioneer of surrealist photography.

Vogue Magazine published his fashion photographs.

Experimenting with Color Photography lead to his gold medal award in Venice.

Died in Paris on November 18th.
